Synopsis
自1781年初版以来逾两个世纪，康德的《纯粹理性批判》可能依然是现代哲学中最有影响力的文本。康德希望形而上学家们从没完没了的论战中挣脱出来，不必再为人类知识是否必然符合独立给定的客体而争论。相反，他认为哲学发展只有在承认客体符合人类认知（或意识）形式的情况下才是可能的。在较大程度上，哲学史是可以按照思想家们如何回应康德这部作品来叙述的。他的《纯粹理性批判》在当下仍不断引发并且影响着大量争论，既有哲学领域内的，也有哲学领域外的。
