Synopsis
本书系香江哲学丛书（黄勇、王庆节 主编）之一。全书基于儒家思想来检讨当代医疗的六个方面：医疗制度、医疗决策、医疗科技、器官医疗、精神医疗和老年医疗。在理论上，本书将儒家思想重构为“以道为志向、以德为基础、以家为本位、以礼为引导”的美德伦理系统，这一系统不同于当代西方生命伦理学的原则主义系统，目前还在发展创新之中，它可用于分析高科技发展所带来的伦理挑战，如器官移植、基因编辑、性爱机器人以及换头手术等，并反思传统医疗问题的当代抉择，如医疗储蓄、家庭地位、知情同意、代理决策、疫苗接种、精神治疗、养老模式以及堕胎、医助自杀和安乐死等。简言之，当代医疗问题尖锐、复杂、紧迫，需要伦理学的关注和政策改革的应对。本书从事“医疗呼唤道德”的切实学术研究，进行“传统面对当下”的自觉反思平衡。
