Synopsis
薛己，字新甫，号立斋，明代吴郡（今江苏苏州）人。薛氏家族以医为业，是吴中地区著名的世医代表。出生于世医之家的薛己天资聪明，过目辄能成诵，自幼继承家学，因多次应考不第，转而专攻医学。薛己“性习观书”“见识聪明，于医极精”，他遍览方书，于医术无所不通。最初攻读外科，亦为其最擅长者，以后又精于内、儿两科，并于其他各科均有建树。 本书辑录了当代学者关于吴门医派代表医家薛己的研究文献，以生平著述辑要、医学思想研究、临床证治探讨、疾病诊治应用等为纲要，共收集相关研究文献74篇，概述薛己生平及其遗存著作，阐述其治病求本、脾肾并重以及阐发肾命、善用温补的学术思想，探讨其临床各科的诊治特点及方药应用规律，以冀全面反映当代学者对薛己学术思想的研究全貌。 本书可供中医临床工作者、中医文献研究人员、中医院校师生及中医爱好者参考阅读。
