本书是深圳画院“传与承——深圳画院名家系列”项目的成果之一，旨在通过对离退休老画家艺术创作实践和相关文献的梳理，完成对画家艺术年表的整理、优秀作品的分类、艺术思想的研究、创作手法的解析，达到“艺术传记”的效果和目的。“传与承”项目计划分三期开展，每期推出三至四名画家的研究成果，汇编成集。本书系第一期，为田克盛、周凯、宋承德三位先生的合集，内容包括《韵之美——田克盛油画作品集》《千岩万壑——周凯山水画叙微》和《闲和趣远——宋承德作品集》。
