About the Author
Series Introduction: This new series, six volumes in total, takes the readers from a beginner to an intermediate level, approximately 3 years of higher-level classroom instruction. The text follows the story of Ding Libo and other international students as they live in China, learning about Chinese culture and society as they learn Mandarin. The book will improve their basic skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening with supplementary exercises, many illustrations, and charts. The entire series includes textbooks, student workbooks, and instructor's manuals.
