Synopsis
It is a poetry anthology which is consisted of two Stars & Spring Water. Stars includes 164 small poems. Bing Xin believes in the"" philosophy of love"", deeming that"" one will have everything once they have boasted love"". In the"" Stars"", she continued to sing the song of love. She loves her mother,her three brothers and the sea she is familiar with,so praise of nature, childlike innocence and maternal love have become the eternal theme of her creation all her life."" Spring Water"" is the companion volume of the "" Stars"",including 182 poems. In the"" Spring Water"", Bing Xin implicitly expressed the trouble and anguish of herself and the young intellectuals of her generation. She is exploring the meaning of life and expressing her desire to learn about the world while telling her feeling with her gentle and slightly sad writing style.
