About the Author

Warwick Jessup studied Sanskrit at Balliol College, Oxford, before going on to the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, where he took a Master of Philosophy degree in Advaita Vedanta. He also spent some time in India studying with various teachers. Since 1985 he has taught Sanskrit at St James Schools in London and has also tutored groups of adults in Sanskrit and Philosophy.
