College of engineering, bangalore in 1983, and promoted as an assistant professor in the month of january 1985. Since then he is serving there as an assistant professor and is actively involved to submit his ph.d. Thesis on the subject of hydrological investigations of hoskote taluk, bangalore rural district, karnataka, india. Under the guidance of dr. B.c. Prabhakar, professor and chairman, department of postgraduate and research centre geology, bangalore university, bangalore. He is a fellow of the geological society of india (f.g.s.), mineralogical society of india (f.m.s.) and member of indian society for technical education (m.i.s.t.e.).
