About the Author:

Ms. Mamta Anand is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Mata Gujri College, Jabalpur. Since her schooling, she has been outstanding in her academic achievements. She has to her credit to have topped in her college, Govt Mahakoshal Arts and Commerce College, Jabalpur, at the postgraduation level. In addition, she has an exalting scroll of awards and achievements in creative writing among which a few deserve mention: All-India 8th Rank for essay 'Chandrashekhar Azad' by CS Review, New Delhi, 1995; All-India 14th Rank for essay 'Dr. S. Radhakrishnan' by General Knowledge Today and CSR, New Delhi, 1997; and All-India 2nd Rank in Super Brains of India Essay Contest held in New Delhi, 2000. Her published works include a few poems and research papers on Shakespeare, Aristotle and Radhakrishnan. Besides her teaching job, she is at present engaged in her research work on a comparative study of Radhakrishnan and Emerson.
