About the Author
Firoz ul-Haque is a consulting engineer in the United States. He is a Sunni Muslim from India, and received his education as well as training in India, Germany, Canada, and USA. He has traveled to several countries in Asia to understand various religious philosophies. The present book, Islam Under the Microscope, is a product of an extensive research on Islam and other religions, and highlights the strength of Islam and weaknesses of Muslims. The principal thrust of this book is the Islamic Deterrence to Violence, and fosters global peace, as well as peaceful co-existence with non-Muslims. The author has boldly condemned Islamic militancy and terrorism, while supporting this condemnation with the provisions of the Quran and the Sharia (the Islamic law). A number of sensitive social issues such as the status of women in Islam, marriage, and divorce, that are of global significance, have also been presented to enlighten both Muslims and non-Muslims.
