Objective Genetics'particularly in view of our earlier publication, 'Objective Plant Breeding' that has been widely appreciated. Objective questions, particularly MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) are regarded by many as a relief from the descriptive type of questions through which most of us have been evaluated. If nothing else, they eliminate the subjective bias from evaluation, and often encourage the students for both intensive and extensive coverage of the subject. At the same time, setting of good MCQs is a challenge since one may tend to ask questions like 'which of the following scientists discovered such and such'm 'In which year so and/or so discovered this or that', and so on. We have tried to set few such questions, and focus mainly on those that test the understanding of the various concepts and phenomenon.
