About the Author: The author of The Essentials of Vedic Mathematics is Rajesh Kumar Thakur, who is currently working as a director at the National Vedic Maths Academy. He has been conducting over 180 seminars all over India, in an attempt to popularise Vedic Mathematics. He has received a number of awards, one of them being the National Best Teacher Award from AIRMC in the year 2010.
