James Gwartney is a professor of economics at Florida State University and the coauthor of Economics: Private and Public Choice. Robert Lawson is a professor of economics at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio; a senior fellow at the Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions; and the author of articles in journals such as Kyklos and Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics. William Easterly is a professor of economics at New York University; the director of NYU's Development Research Institute; and an associate editor of Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Growth, and Quarterly Journal of Economics. Parth J. Shah is the founder of the Centre for Civil Society in New Delhi, India, a think tank for public policy solutions.
