About the Author
Sadhu Amrutvijaydas is a Hindu monk who was born and brought up in the UK. As a medical doctor, he devoted a number of years to the medical profession before embarking on a spiritual journey that saw him ordained as a sadhu (Hindu monk) under guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the BAPS Swaminarayan Santhsa.
He is an accomplished author and speaker, with nine books on the various facets of Hinduism. Sadhu Amrutvijaydas's profound knowledge of Hindu philosophy and scripture has found expression in his efforts to represent the principles of Hinduism for a contemporary audience.
He is based out of the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Ahmedabad, India.
About the Illustrator:
Vasudeo Kamath is a world-renowned artist and alumnus of the prestigious J.J. School of Art in Mumbai, India. His brilliant portraits have earned various accolades in the art world culminating in the Draper Grand Award bestowed by the Portrait Society of America. His unique ability to realistically depict historical subjects has allowed him to paint portraits of various luminaries and diplomats including Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, The President of India.
