About the Author
Dr. B. D.Tripathi (1933) was Professor of Sociology in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Lucknow in 1966. Dr. Tripathi has also contributed several research papers in English and Hindi journals. He writes in both Hindi and English magazines and dailies.
