In this book, fundamental training is provided for FORTRAN, and how to employ it to solve problems, particularly in the areas of Physics, Statistics and Mathematics. The book includes 55 algorithms, 48 flow charts and 88 programs with comments. Many of the programs are followed by unsolved problems and short answer type questions. 4 appendices have been included to introduce basic computer parts, Disc Operating System, FORTRAN file handling and programming errors.
