He has been awarded as a Research Associate at National Aerospace Laboratories, BANGALORE and later-on worked in many reputed Indian organizations as honorable professor. As recognition, School of Mechanical Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Daegu (South Korea) has invited him as visiting professor during period 2006-2008. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha. He has so far authored six other books. His latest topics of research include: Design and optimization of parallel linkages, Dynamics of MEMS sensors, Nonlinear vibrations, and Computer aided design and analysis techniques.
