Synopsis
Carlos Ruiz Zafon (Barcelona, 1964) obtiene en 1993 el Premio Edebe con su primera novela, El principe de la medianoche, las luces de septiembre y Marina. Sus obras han sido editadas en seis idiomas y, hasta la fecha, se han vendido mas de 250.000 ejemplares. La Sombra del Viento, finalista del Premio de Novela Fernando Lara 2000, lo ha convertido en una de las revelaciones de la novela espanola contemporanea. Actualmente reside en Los angeles, donde esta preparando varios guiones cinematograficos y una nueva novela.

Simone accepts a job working for the owner of a toy factory in the South of France after the death of her husband. At first she and her two children, Irene and Dorian, are content, but strange things begin to happen soon after a young girl is found dead.
