Synopsis
Be Curious updated offers specific material to cover the Key Competencies of the LOMLOE education law. The Pupil's Book presents and practises new language through stories, songs and language practice activities, within the framework of an optional unit task called the Mission. Exam preparation is integrated in every unit with tasks gently introduced, and with levels 2-6 including specific Exam practice lessons. It provides a Key Competencies Activity Bank to help develop all eight of the competencies. Levels 1 and 2 provide Spanish handwriting font with a gentle introduction to reading and writing in Level 1, while Grammar Reference sections are offered in levels 4-6. It contains 9 units, revision sections and a complete grammar guide for levels 4 to 6. Levels 1 and 2 use linked letters and bring reading and writing closer to the little ones in a pleasant way. Exam preparation is fully integrated into each topic with tasks gradually introduced. Levels 2-6 include specific exam practice lessons. In the updated edition, a 16-page Key Competencies Activity Bank has been added at the end of the book, where the 8 key competencies are worked on for the main topic of each unit. These activities can be used to complement the Missions or simply to reinforce skills at home or in the classroom.
