About the Author
José Manuel Ballester (Madrid 1960) es uno de los fotógrafos más reconocidos de nuestro país. Inició su carrera artística en la pintura, con especial interés por la técnica de las escuelas italiana y flamenca de los siglos XV y XVIII, hasta que en la década 1990 empezó a conjugar pintura y fotografía. Su obra, Premio Nacional de Grabado en 1999, Premio Goya de Pintura Villa de Madrid, Premio de Fotografía de la Comunidad de Madrid en 2008 y Premio Nacional de Fotografía en 2010, destaca por la relación entre el ser humano y los espacios que habita.

AUTHOR: Jose Manuel Ballester (Madrid, 1960) is a painter and photographer. He earned a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1984 and has won the National Engraving Prize in 1999, the Villa de Madrid Goya Painting Prize, the Community of Madrid Photography Prize in 2008 and the National Photography Prize in 2010. His works are in the collections of the Museum Reina Sofia in Madrid; the IVAM of Valencia; the Perez Art Museum and Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation in Miami; the Central Academy of Fine Arts of Beijing; the Patio Herreriano of Valladolid; the Maria Cristina Masaveu Peterson Collection; and the Coca Cola Foundation; among others. 110 images Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
