Reliefs and Relievos of an Empire in Painting, Ricardo Pecharrom?n is a great artist: that cannot be questioned, but besides that, I would like to seize this opportunity to pay homage to this Madrilenian by birth, but beyond doubt, Extremenian by vocation. Pecharrom?n is the man who believes in Extremadura, who falls in love - it was love at first sight with that paradise represented by the Comarca de la Vera. And, convinced as he is that he is not wrong, that time will only prove him right, he determinedly opts for Extremadura. He settles in Pasar?n de la Vera and devotes himself entirely to his Museum, in which it is especially surprising to feel the artist's fascination towards his environment and the profusion of efforts, time and enthusiasm given by Pecharrom?n in order to culturally and artistically foster this locality, as a genuine dynamic force of the region.
