Tercera entrega de GITS
Human error processor 1.5. son el relato de cuatro historias, publicadas por Kodansha entre 1992 y 1995, originalmente preapradas para ser la secuela de Ghost in the Shell, Manmachine Interface, justo después de que la sección 9 derrotara al maestro de marionetas. Son diversas historias que profundizan un poco más en el día a día de la sección.
Según palabras del propio Shirow, lo que al final fue la segunda parte, Manmachine Interface, se centra en Motoko,mientras que en esta nueva entrega intercalada entre ambas entregas, se desarrollan historias sobre el resto de miembros del grupo. Incluye Fat Cat, Drive Slave, Mines of Mind y Lost Past.

About the Author
Nacido en Kobe en 1961, su trabajo más conocido es The Ghost in the Shell (1989-1990), con múltiples adaptaciones animadas, empezando por la popular película de 1995 dirigida por Mamoru Oshii. Entre sus otras obras se encuentran Black Magic (1983), Appleseed (1985), Dominion (1986), Orion (1991), Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface (2001) y Ghost in the Shell 1.5: Human-Error Processor (2003).
