About the Author
Robert Desnos was a French surrealist writer who later became politically active by writing for the magazine Documents de Bataille, joining the anti-Fascist movement, and becoming an active member of the French Resistance. Juan Manuel Ibeas Altamira is a translator and professor of French literature and translation at the University of the Basque Country. Lydia Vázquez Jiménez is a professor of French philology at the University of the Basque Country.
