Synopsis
Drawing from a diverse range of cultural sources such as art, film, television and comic books, as well as from themes based around sex and religion, Scandinavian artist Tal R has developed an oeuvre which blends abstraction and figuration while defying simple classification at the same time. For his exhibition at the CAC Málaga, designed especially for the space, the artist presented an installation entitled Teenager Beach which consisted of a wide selection of his more recent works including paintings, drawings and videos. Some 55 works are featured in this catalogue, all clearly reproduced in full colour, and accompanied by biographic notes and a short essay.
