About the Author:
Robert Louis Stevenson was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer whose works include Kidnapped and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Robert Ingpen has designed, illustrated, and written more than 100 published works of fiction and nonfiction, among them The Jungle Book and the centenary edition of Peter Pan and Wendy. In 1986 he was awarded the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for his contribution to children's literature.
