Ralf Daab has been active in the art book market for over 25 years. He began his career as sales director for TASCHEN in Cologne, Germany, in 1993. In 1995, he moved to New York and established TASCHEN's first office in the United States. In 1997, he became CEO of Könemann Publishing in New York and established the brand in the U.S. market. Returning to Germany in 2000, he took over the role of director of publishing and sales at teNeues and created a new program of books on architecture and design with the renowned COOL book series, while also establishing a global distribution network. Building on this experience, he founded his own label, daab, in 2003 and has published over 300 books on art, architecture, design, photography, and fashion. More than one million copies have been sold in over 100 countries.
