Vuk Draskovic, author and the president of Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) is one of Serbia's most published and most translated modern authors. His novels Knife, Judge, Russian Consul and Generals' Night are translated to many world's languages. From 1990 to 2000, he was one of the leaders of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia, because of which Milosevic's State Security tried to assassinate him several times. After the democratic changes, he was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia-Montenegro and Serbia. He reflects on all these events in his new book "Meta" ("Target"), a crossover between a novel and a diary.
