About the Authors

Hanne Thomasen is former Carlsberg scholar at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen and currently a freelance scholar and classical archaeologist. 

Kristine Bøggild Johannsen is curator at the Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen.

Annette Rathje is associate professor emerita of classical archaeology at the Saxo Institute at the University of Copenhagen.
