Synopsis

Review

I expected Greybones to make me laugh (and it did, outright), but I didn't expect the myriad other reactions the book drew from me: genuine, heartfelt smiles, tears, the sense of being placed into the story and part of it, the monsters and outcasts a new family. A rollicking good read for children, but also a surprisingly poignant one for adults. - Flavia Brunetti, author

... a balanced writing, weighed at every step and syllable, descriptive to the point of leaving nothing to the imagination while nourishing it at the same time... - Aphorism

A dystopian reality where tooth-and-scale monsters are discriminated against by 'normal' humans, inhabitants of the city that has become 'the grayest and scariest in the United Kingdom'. - Telefree

A reading for children and adults alike. - Freedom of Words

An enjoyable read supported by numerous references to well-known films, readings or comics. - All Books

Monsters seen as metaphors of 'diversity' are not new in children's literature, but in this book they take on a more 'human' dimension, each with their own faults, weaknesses, their delusions and their sense of justice. - The Book Nibbler

The relentless prose and the constant jokes make it a smooth and fun read, and you become easily attached to the characters of the monsters, with their human qualities and defects. - For Kids

The narration is complemented by the skilful artwork that accompanies each chapter. - Librimanent
