Dalla struttura vegetale delle noci di cocco allo schema degli insediamenti umani secondo Le Corbusier, la forma del triangolo equilatero si ritrova, in natura così come nelle creazioni dell'uomo, in una molteplicità di casi differenti. Forma geometrica basilare insieme al cerchio e al quadrato, il triangolo equilatero si presta a combinarsi modularmente e generare campi strutturati in cui si possono costruire infinite altre forme; dall'arte decorativa classica araba e giapponese fino all'architettura contemporanea di Buckminster Fuller e Wright, la conoscenza del triangolo equilatero, in tutti i suoi aspetti e le sue possibilità formali e strutturali, ha dato luogo a risultati e sperimentazioni curiosi e suggestivi. Dopo i volumi dedicati al quadrato e al cerchio, vengono ora riproposti gli spunti e le riflessioni di Bruno Munari a proposito delle decine di usi nei secoli di questa affascinante e misteriosa forma, originariamente pubblicate nel 1976 per Zanichelli nella collana da lui stesso curata, "Quaderni di design".

According to the back cover: 'understanding every aspect and formal-structural possibility of this simple, basic form (triangle) is a great help to a designer.' This booklet is filled with b/w artwork, diagrams, photos etc which underpin and illustrate this point. Condition: sound but some black ink (?) markings on both the front and back (card) covers.
