Peter Coltrin Racing in Color 1954-1959 is a fabulous all-color motor racing book from The Klemantaski Collection with text in English, French, and Italian. We are now offering the standard dust jacket edition as well as the leatherbound special edition. Our copies of the standard edition have been signed by author Chris Nixon and by Peter Coltrin’s widow Gabriella. This book contains over 200 never-published photographs with a sensitive and detailed text by the world famous motorsports author Chris Nixon. Peter Coltrin become well-known and respected for his black and white photography, but his early color work, never published before, is truly outstanding. Racing in Color is designed to present a truly unique look at a classic period in motor sport for which very little color photography exists. The text and captions for Racing in Color were written by the famed motor racing historian Chris Nixon, who was himself a close friend of Peter Coltrin.
