Jean-Pierre de Villers is professor of Modern Literature at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. This is the Italian translation of his acclaimed Last Flight of the Little Prince/Le dernier vol du Petit Prince, one of the first books originally published as a bilingual edition in Canada.It is the story of his serendipitous meeting with Wilhelm von Stadde, a German pilot who tried to save Saint-Exupery's life on July 31,1944. It is the story of an unsuspected friendship accross enemy lines.
