Synopsis
An English translation of Bresciani's concise guide to nine pharaohs which aims to show the ways in which the Kingdom of Egypt evolved, largely based on an analysis of texts. The landmark pharaohs are Cheops, Amenemhet III, Amenophis II, Tuthmosis IV, Amenhophis IV-Akhenaten, Ramesses II, Amasis, Darius I and Alexander the Great. The poor translation does not make easy reading.
