Angelo Russo traspone in pittura il suo personale trattato dell'arte e lo fa nel modo pi� istintivo possibile, attraverso le pennellate, liquide, fluide eppure impermeabili e insondabili. It does not live in masks, in insects, in objects in apparent movement, frozen by the decisive line of the drawing. Often sharp sign, made of lines that bend in acute and cutting angles, sometimes more nuanced and sinuous. It is precisely this contrast that emerges overwhelmingly in each of his works, which is characterized precisely by these bizarre combinations, which seem na�ve, but are instead thought, reasoned, meditated. The artist thus provides an intimate, personal and carnal reading of himself. He succeeds in making transparent what is material, fluid what is solid. Angelo Russo transposes his personal treatise on art into painting and does it in the most instinctive way possible, through brushstrokes, liquid, fluid yet impermeable and unfathomable. Fascinated by the macrocosm, Russo does not renounce the minutiae, the detail, the decorative motif. In him, psychology is related to the intimate fact, to the point of becoming one and the same.
