Synopsis

Drago invited Jeremy Fish to come to Rome and create site specific works. The results are in the book Rome-antic Delusions. The title is a play on words and the contents contain a roman remix of Jeremy's images. The Italian touch has been added to his usual cast of characters, his rich iconography has had a glass of prosecco and a plate of pasta and the artists has got a bit of the Rome-antic touch.

About the Author

Jeremy Fish received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1996. After finishing university Jeremy worked for the skateboard industry in S.F. First as a production manager for screen printing, and later as the art director for Think Skateboards. In 2001 he left the skateboard industry to pursue his artwork.Jeremy's artwork deals with the relationship of all things cute and odd. His work uses a library of symbols and characters to tell narrative stories about real life in a surreal way. Blending the old with the new, the sweet and approachable.
