أحمد نجم، ابن الجليل الفلسطيني، والمقيم في السويد منذ ثمانينيات القرن الماضي، يكتب من موقع الإنسان العابر بين ضفتين ضفة الذاكرة المنهوبة، وضفة الغربة الطويلة. قصيدته صافية، هادئة، لكنها تحتفظ في الوقت نفسه بعبق التاريخ في نبرتها، وبدفءٍ إنساني لا ينطفئ.

In this third poetry collection, No Trace of a Horse Except for a Horse, poet Ahmed Najm continues his poetic journey, whose threads are woven from the reservoir of memory and exile, and from the sharp separation between the self and the world. This collection comes after Birds Lose Their Compass 2020 and Postponed Joys 2023, to dedicate his style based on deep reflection on the details of daily life, nature, and the fates of human beings. The poems in this collection move between a deep nostalgia for the places of childhood, the whisper of the seasons in Sweden, and reflections on absence, waiting, and belonging.

Ahmed Najm, a son of the Palestinian Galilee, who has lived in Sweden since the 1980s, writes from the position of a man who passes between two banks: the bank of looted memory and the bank of long exile. His poem is clear, calm, but at the same time it retains the aroma of history in its tone, and an unquenchable human warmth.
