Synopsis
The 2011 edition of the Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Securing (CSS Code) incorporates all amendments up to and including 2010. MSC.1/Circ.1353 introduced a new annex 14 on Guidance on providing safe working conditions for securing of containers on deck, in June 2010. Also included in this edition are other texts issued by the IMO and related to the stowage of cargo, including the Revised Guidelines for the preparation of the cargo securing manual (MSC.1/Circ.1353, June 2010).
