About the Author:
Dr. Samta Jain has earned Doctorate in Psychology and currently working as a Professor, Program Coordinator and Research Coordinator at IBS Mumbai, a premiere B-School of the country. She has 13 years of experience in Corporate and academic fields and has extended several training programs, consultations to Corporate, NGO s and Academic Institutions. She was a trainer at Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur. Her consultations include corporate restructuring, Recruitments, Job Profiling, Performance Appraisal and Reward Systems, Job Evaluations, Competency Mapping, Assessment Centres, behavioral and soft skills trainings etc.
She is also an author, writer and regular contributor to many magazines and Journals of National and International level. She has contributed 40 National and International Papers. She is a Consulting Editor of Dimensions, an International Journal of Management by IBS Mumbai. She was selected at IIM Ahmedabad as an Academic Associate and Junior Faculty in the year 2000.
She has been awarded Human Rights Millennium Award-2000 jointly by IIHR, UNESCO and UNICEF. She has also been conferred with Ms. Super Brain Award consolation prize four times by CSR, New Delhi. She is a recipient of Bharat Excellence Award conferred by FFI, New Delhi for her special contribution to environmental research. She is an Honorary Advisor to Ansted University, UK.
Dr. Namrata Mehta, a Clinical Psychologist, received her Ph.D from J.N.V. University, Jodhpur. She is currently working as a Psychologist in Manidhari Hospital, Jodhpur, Rajasthan She has an experience of over 18 years. She is also a visiting faculty at Paramedical and Management Institutes and colleges of Jodhpur along with her regular teaching assignments at Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur.
Her teaching has spanned a range of courses in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Clinical Psychology, Experimental Psychology and General Psychology. She has given several talks on Child and mental health, Stress Management and has also contributed in Local and National Dailies. She has also conducted various consultancy programs, psychometric testing and has served as a panel member on various selection boards.
She is an ardent Researcher and has several National and International papers published in reputed Journals to her credit. She is also an honorary member of several NGO s working in the areas of Women empowerment, women health, social development, AIDS, child development and mental health etc.
