The study is based on an appropriate theories, concepts, tools and techniques. A very clear relationship between economic development and environmental quality has been found in most of the cases of environmental indicators. Many environmental indicators have positive relationship with economic development and others have negative relationship. Also some environmental indicators have non linear i.e. inverted U type relationship.
