V.V. Prasadarao: An Inspiring Teacher and Social ActivistV.V. Prasadarao is a distinguished teacher and social activist who dedicated over five decades to challenging superstition, caste discrimination, corruption, and illiteracy. Born in 1948, he grew up in Varni and served as a teacher in several villages before retiring in 2006.Beyond education, he led literacy campaigns, promoted scientific thinking, fought the Jogini system, encouraged inter-caste marriages, and supported disadvantaged students. He also worked for women's empowerment, blood and organ donation awareness, and teachers' rights.A prolific writer and community leader, he contributed to educational publications and co-founded the Mallu Swarajyam Memorial Trust. Despite criticism and hardships, V.V.
