Synopsis
This book adopts a very practical approach to pulmonary function testing. It focuses on commonly performed tests and avoids discussing older tests that are now performed only rarely. Each chapter is a self-contained discussion of a particular pulmonary function test or common group of tests. Each chapter takes a brief look at relevant physiology, followed by technical factors that affect the test. In addition, each chapter also contains relevant calculations, cases and questions.
