About the Authors
Anushka Ravishankar, dubbed ‘India’s Dr. Seuss’, is one of India’s most celebrated children’s authors, and her witty and jubilant tales are internationally acclaimed and widely translated. Anushka has now authored over twenty books and travelled widely performing from her stories. Some of her books for Tara include Captain Coconut and the Case of the Missing Bananas, Tiger on a Tree, Catch That Crocodile!, To Market! To Market! and Alphabets are Amazing Animals.
Christiane Pieper is a well-known German illustrator and author who has worked for some of Germany’s most prestigious publishing houses, and has illustrated over 30 books. Having grown up on a farm, she has a special interest in animals, and also illustrated Tara’s Alphabets Are Amazing Animals and Elephants Never Forget!
