Synopsis
The fourth publication of iA bookazine series from the Delft Institute presents the abstract issues of quantum physics to the description and explanation of our physical world. The Delft Institute is also the first university to create a digital gaming software curriculum, and this book opens the door to understanding how new advances in digital software are changing the practice of architecture and re-defining urban space. Finally, a true interaction can be envisioned between users and their constructed environments, and between designers and their computational tools. The book, rich with graphics, illustrations and intertwined photos, is divided into four research projects and the workshop approach to each. Quantum physicists, architects, sociologists, researchers and students come together in this issue of the iA bookazine to challenge the new territory of quantum architecture.

About the Author
Kas Oosterhuis is a professor at the Technical University Delft. He is a well-known Dutch architect, Principal ONL and the Director of the Hyperbody Research Group and Protospace Lab.
