About the Author
A motor racing enthusiast early on, Pierre Van Vliet started his career as a journalist before devoting himself to broadcasting as a Formula 1 commentator for French TV network TF1 for nearly fifteen years. As a producer and publisher based in Monte- Carlo, he is also editor-in-chief for both the F1i Magazine and the website, two French language references when it comes to F1. Pierre also acts as a savvy consultant on various motor racing programs, having recently worked with Chevrolet on the manufacturer's World Touring Car operation, or with Renault Sport and its World Series by Renault platform. As a F1 veteran, Pierre Van Vliet has covered more than 500 Grand Prix since 1976.
