Julio Verne 1828-1905. Escritor y novelista francés. Considerado el padre de la ciencia ficción o un gran escritor de literatura científica. Reconocido con la Legión de Honor por sus aportaciones a la educación. Fue un estudioso de la ciencia y la tecnología de su época, lo que aunado a su gran imaginación le permitió predecir con gran exactitud en sus relatos fantásticos la aparición de la televisión, los helicópteros, los submarinos y las naves espaciales. Sus personajes principales siempre fueron héroes y hombres buenos.
Además de novelas y obras de teatro, escribió también relatos cortos.
Jules Verne 1828-1905. French writer and novelist. Considered the father of science fiction or a great writer of scientific literature. Recognized with the Legion of Honor for his contributions to education. He was a student of science and technology of his time, which combined with his great imagination allowed him to accurately predict in his fantastic stories the appearance of television, helicopters, submarines, and spacecraft.
His main characters were always heroes and good men. In addition to novels and plays, he also wrote short stories.
