Synopsis
The rapid advances in information technology has elevated the role of computer (-aided) translation in translation studies and practice in recent decades. This has resulted in numerous research and publications on the topic, and thus indicates the growing interest in computer (-aided) translation. This topical bibliography is an attempt to provide much needed information on the literature in the field.
Main features: More than 7,000 entries of works in English or Chinese, covering a period of 58 years. Entries organized into 39 topics/subtopics to give great convenience to readers to examine previous works in particular topics. About the Author
Chan Sin-wai is a professor of the Department of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests are computer translation and bilingual lexicography. He has written numerous books and articles on these topics and was one of the two revisers of the Longman Dictionary of English Language and Culture
