About the Author:
The late Harold Fisch was a highly respected Biblical and literary scholar. He served as Professor of English at Bar-Ilan University, and was a founder of its Institute for Literary Research (later the Lechter Institute). Professor Fisch received the Israel Prize for Literary Research in 1990.
