About the Author:

Leonard Stein was born in South Africa where he qualified as a pediatrician. After a two year stint as a Fellow in the premature infant intensive care unit at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Stein and his family settled in Israel.

An avid reader of murder mysteries and writer of short stories, it was always his ambition to write a full-length novel.

Drawing on his knowledge of forensic medicine and with the encouragement of The Writing Circle, he wrote "The Murderer Said Shalom." This is the first in a series of whodunits featuring Inspector David Biton. "Who is Killing The Gays of Tel Aviv" will be published at the end of 2005.
