Aside of being a journalist and writer, Fernando Diez de Urdanivia has been involved with music through the years, both, as promotor and music critic. People who enjoy reading in Spanish would enjoy him sharing many of his anecdotes with famous musicians such as Igor Markevitch, Pablo Casals, Alfred Brendel, Charlie Mingus, Gerry Mulligan and Chick Corea. The book is written in such a colloquial language, that you may feel you are listening to him.
