Originally from New Zealand but now living in Kenya, R.B. Landeck is a risk advisor with over 20 years of experience in diplomatic and humanitarian security management. Recipient of a Meritorious Honor Award for efforts in counter-terrorism, R.B. Landeck has provided protective services, management, and training for Diplomatic Missions, Heads of State, Fortune 500 Companies, SWAT Teams & other law enforcement agencies, before transitioning into the humanitarian sector. There, from developing training suites for organizations with over 40,000 staff and building safety management capacity of implementing partners operating in active conflicts, to rendering crisis management and tactical security support to management teams across the globe, he has assisted international organizations and local NGOs in the safe delivery of essential humanitarian goods and services in over 20 countries, including some of the world's most dangerous environments, for more than a decade.
Since 2017, R.B. Landeck has been dedicating much of his time to writing and filmmaking, most notably his Dead Hemisphere series, as well as non-fiction content related to security risk management in humanitarian operations.
